- Installing and configuring network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues
- Identifying and solving any problems that arise with computer networks and systems
- Maintaining existing software and hardware and upgrading any that have become obsolete
- Monitoring computer networks and systems to identify how performance can be improved
- Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
- Complete migrations and implementation of various Microsoft services including: Azure, 365 suite including Intune, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, AzureAD
- Report unresolved infrastructure exposures, misuse of resources, and noncompliance situations using defined escalation processes
- Develops, implements, and monitors information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
Network Administrator
- 5+ years of network administration/engineering
- Cisco Certification
- Strong understandings of Cisco and Fortinet Network implementation
- Experience with Web Security architecture and implementation
- Experience with Load Balancer and Web Application Firewall
- Experience with PowerShell, Python scripting
- Experience with WAN technologies and WAN Optimization
- L2 technologies-VLANs/VLAN tagging, VTP, Spanning Tree
- L3 technologies-IP Sub-netting, IP routing
- Perform network security assessments and compliance reviews
- Ensure timely resolution and remediation of network security risks
- Assess and implement new security toolsets and related procedures
- Network solutions, standards and protocols WAN Acceleration
- TCP/IP and various Internet Protocols DNS, NAT, IPSec, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, SSL, SNMP, NFS, IPv4, Digital Certificates
- Firewalls, router ACLs, IPSec VPNs, RADIUS, and TACACS
- Experience working with Third Party Vendors such as ISP’s
- Experience with Change Management Processes
- Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Good analytical, logical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of sound business practices and a proven track record of anticipating and exceeding customer expectations
Systems Administrator
- 5+ year of Microsoft experience
- Microsoft 365 Certification
- Azure Certification
- Experience with Active Directory design and management
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and 2019
- Experience with Microsoft Azure design and management
- Experience with Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security (EMS)
- Experience with Web Security architecture and implementation
- Experience with RADIUS,MFA
- Experience with PowerShell scripting
- Experience with VMWare vSphere 6.x and 7.x
- Experience with 2-3 technology products or services at a subject matter expert level. Technologies can include: M365 Suite (Azure, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online etc.), Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Github, Gitlab, Git,, etc.
- Assess and implement new security toolsets and related procedures
- Experience with Change Management Processes
- Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
