Our client is a leader in clinical technology development. Their R&D team is looking to hire a senior backend developer to continue efforts to bring leading edge technology to medical devices, specifically respiratory apparatus. The ideal candidate will have a 5+ year track record in backend development, ideally several of those in a consumer product industry environment.

This resource will be assisting in the build of a bunch of APIs - primarily a med device + mobile app that a patient uses to make healthcare decisions. The real medical/business logic goes into the backend APIs of the app. For example, they recently added video calling on their portal (for Drs & patients), which had to happen via API; another API is to streamline the onboarding of patients (currently it's super slow & manual) so this person will help with automation and faster processes. Another is for care coordinators who go through every patient profile & see manually if the patient needs intervention. They are building an API that automatically shows which patients need immediate attention. 

Required Skills:

•  Minimum of 7 years of backend development experience

•  Heavy Python development experience

•  Rolled out and supported an application with significant amount of users in production

•  Experience with docker 

It’s an added bonus if you have

•  DevOps Experience

•  Domain Driven Design experience

•  Web / Javascript development experience
