JOB DETAIL

 

This individual will be responsible for User Experience (UX) that is being driven by data, AI, and cognitive computing. He/ she will understand and implement data-driven visualization across AbbVie’s operations organization. As a user-experience (UX) designer the individual should be able to understand our business requirements and any technical limitations, as well as be responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, through interviews and surveys, and translating them into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes.

Responsibilities include:
• Conduct/Participate in workshops to create user stories, wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Collaborate with business, and IT organizations to define and implement solutions for the product direction
• Establish and enforce design guidelines, best practices and standards
• Work cross functionally with development, sales and client strategy to present designs throughout product design lifecycle
• Tests usability of systems to evaluate how real users use the system and measure of how fast a user can perform given tasks to test the efficiency and intuitiveness of the system.
• Write communications documents, training documents, user requirements and functional specifications to detail features that need to be included in the product to meet the users’ expectations.

Qualifications:
• 2 - 3 years of experience in Mobile, Web and Data Apps UX/UI design
• Experience with UX strategy, UX methodologies and best practices
• Mandatory experience in Marvel, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or similar design tools
• Preferred experience with design concept tools (InVision app, Axure, HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
• Create design deliverables such as specifications, user flows, process flows, wireframes, blueprints, mockups, and prototypes
• Ability to communicate design ideas cross-functionally
• Experience working with offshore and onshore resources
• Experience in Agile development environment
• Education minimum Bachelor’s Degree required
