·         4 to 6 years’ experience as a DBA supporting large scale implementation in a complex system environment

·         Working knowledge of Installation, configuration, upgrades patching.

·         Backup and recovery methods including point in time recovery.

·         Extensive exposure to Sybase 15.x, 12.x database administration under Linux platform.

·         Strong Sybase Replication experience (Replication Server 15.x, 12.x) and knowledge on Distributed Database Management System

·         Experience into DBA monitoring tasks, manage, escalate incidents, database replications (MSA).

·         Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options

·         Strong working knowledge on DBA tasks, troubleshooting and analytical skills

·         Should have basic Unix commands knowledge or Shell / Perl Script is preferred.
