- Work with IT team supporting the Claims System processing annuity and life insurance claims
- In an agile manner, be able to delivery projects, initiatives, and production support to the business
- Collaborate with team members and the business users in fact finding exercises and/or providing technical solutions and enhancements
- Work with remote teammates and customers (either work from home, other SFG offices, or offshore)
- Wear multiple hats (developer, BA, QA, Release Manager, production support analyst) to design, code, configure, implement, and support different modules of the Claims SystemCommunicate effectively with different types of users and all levels of the organization
- Work will be assigned by Scrum Master, Product Owner, and/or IT Engineering Manager
- Varied work includes working in teams or working independently
- Years of Experience: 7 Years of Experience
- Core .Net experience with C#, ASP.net, MVC, SQL Server, Entity Framework, Web API, Azure Dev Ops, SSRS
- Knowledgeable & experienced with Agile Scrum methodology
- Some production support experience
- Strong working knowledge with front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue) and supporting technologies (e.g. NPN, WebPack, Mocha, Jest, etc)
- Advanced proficiency in MSFT SQL Server
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries
- Experience with claims systems, life insurance/annuities a plus
- Ability to learn new technologies and able to adapt to different organization programming/SDLC methodologies
- Good verbal & written communication skills
