4 Mandatory skills: 

·         Restful, JSON, Microservices API using Spring (and Netflix) stack

·         Strong experience in Spring boot frameworks including Spring Cloud Streams with Kafka binders

·         JUnit with mocking framework (Mockito)

·         DevOps Tools (BitBucket, Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, Veracode, OpenShift / AWS)

·         Strong ability to troubleshoot/address production issues

Experience:

·         Implementing API Service architectures (REST with JSON) using any of the market leading API Management tools such as WSO2 and frameworks such as Spring Boot for Microservices and Red Hat OpenShift.

·         Experience with Spring Kafka and Ktable

·         Significant understanding of Microservice patterns & concepts & its application in problem solving including Service Mesh.

·         Experience in integration of back ends via REST API, SOAP based web services, xml over http, Kafka/MQ

·         Understanding of cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS), AWS Native Capability & AWS Gateway

·         Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and Container Management software (Kubernetes)

·         Experience with Open Source Monitoring tools for example ELK STACK Log Management, Prometheus, Zipkin and/or Grafana

·         Experience with Continuous Integration and automated testing strategies and tools

·         Java 8 or higher

·         Knowledge and use of OpenAPI generator based on Swagger / Open API based service contracts is an advantage

·         Knowledge of Open Legacy tool is desired
