- Develop reports, dashboards, and apps using Power BI
- Administer PowerBI gateway, permissions and pipelines
- Conduct data analysis on source data systems and determine best approach for modeling information in PowerBI
- Design and write SQL queries and procedures in Oracle and Redshift/ PostgreSQL
- Design and develop enterprise and departmental business intelligence and data warehousing solutions
- Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end
- Design and develop ETL processes that will transform a variety of raw data, flat files, xl spreadsheets into SQL Databases
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
- Coach and guide junior developers and users with PowerBI capabilities, features and usage
Qualifications:
- Hands on experience using PowerBI core and advanced capabilities for complex reports, dashboard and apps
- Strong knowledge and experience with SQL (Oracle, Redshift/ Postgres), MDX and DAX expressions
- Strong ability to bring User Experience while defining, designing and developing visualizations and dashboards
- Very strong in SQL query writing in Oracle and Redshift/ PostgreSQL databases
- Well versed with Data warehouses and data marts
- Very good experience in database modeling
- Strong ability to interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide reports, visualizations, and dashboards
- Proven analytical problem solving and debugging skills
- Uses additional cloud technologies (e.g. understands concept of Cloud services like Azure SQL server).
