Sr Data engineer for IDF

Looking for a Sr Data engineer to join our world-class Global Identity and Fraud Capabilities team. The team is designing and building out an Identity Foundry that will be replacing several existing data platforms for ID and Fraud solutions team in USIS and building a reusable prototype for global deployment.

You will be working in a dynamic environment, where we embrace moving quickly to build the core capabilities for the Identity Foundry. In this exciting role, you will be applying your understanding of data sources and data pipelines to design solutions to standardize, integrate data; to build purposed views that will support feature development for identity and Frauds solution. The successful candidate will exhibit data and process curiosity, have the ability to establish best practices where none are defined, interpret and proactively contribute when new challenges emerge. The candidate should have a desire to learn new concepts and have the ability to work in a cross matrixed, collaborative and fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

•Ability to work with Technology and D&A teams to review, understand and interpret the business requirements to design and build missing functionalities to support the IDF D&A needs.

• lead end to end interpretation , design, creation, and build of large and highly complex analytics related capabilities product solutions from data source ingestion, consolidation, transformation to custom purpose views.

• Consult and collaborate with partners to develop business requirements so successfully build views, data flows to implement complex big data solutions using Search match and Keying and linking functionalities.

• Establish best practices for data management, maintenance, and reporting and security experiences to suggest or apply to improvements in our solution design.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers

• Strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners

Skills:

Must have: 3-5 years of experience working with analytics/ data based product development.

Broad knowledge of Machine Learning, Algorithm design and Software Engineering concepts

Experience working in Agile environment and with cross-disciplines including Data Engineers, IT Architects, Operations, Product, Sales, Marketing and other Business representatives

Technical skills:

Intermediate – Advanced Python, Scala, and SQL experience

Strong coding experience

Spark, GCP -Big Query, data studio, Data flow, Cloud composer, Big Table,

GitHub working experience

Software build and design experience a plus
