Systems Administrator mainly focusing on UNIX Administrator to support an IBM AIX / Red Hat Linux /Solaris Server infrastructure and be responsible for building, operating, maintaining, and supporting the overall architecture for each platform.
- 8+ years of UNIX experience
- 3+ years HACMP experience
- 3+ years of patching Redhat or AIX experience
-5+ years of scripting experience
- 5+ years of hardware experience IBM and Redhat platforms
- 5+ years of troubleshooting experience Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Redhat Linux 7+ administration.
- VMWare and SAN/NAS storage knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge of the SOX, PCI, PII, and HIPPA security standards is desired.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux
- Strong experience with system management tools, logical file systems, and client server environments.
- In-depth hardware configuration knowledge. -Shell programming experience.
- Demonstrated initiative, customer orientation and team work experience.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and problem solve.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical issues with non-technical people. -Troubleshooting experience and the ability to resolve complex Linux 7 problems.
