• Starts with going through emails for the day and understanding communications that need to be sent out to coordinate
• Attending morning meetings
• Planning day for the work that needs to be done
• Go and deal with meeting requests during the day
• Have to do coordination with QAs , days without morning meetings that you have to coordinate with QAs on working strategy
• Start at about 9am CST
• Lots of coordination because tables and data are key to reports
• Someone with great communication skills
• This person should know when to say no
• Confident enough to be able to say know and dealing with the project
• They would issue out equipment
• primarily working on defects in managed care area - in GB all of their bills
• millions of rows of data for the bills and rows in the data - fill iterations
• anything the company wants to change program or a code - causes issues in their database for the tables that have been built
• Ashani has fixed these defects for the past 2 years and help with any defects that might come up - large tables - takes a while to get through testing and other projects
• this person needs to know tsql, data factory on Azure and on-prem servers - ADW, EDW
• General senior developer
• The other piece of the role - small team and need someone to jump in quickly, work with Ashani for a few months then will be on their own
• All data coming in from their claim system - risk facts; pull all data from database to risk facts
• This role would be taking operational data from risk facts and getting into DW - ETL
• More of the data is wrong in risk facts and flows into the DW; correct in risk facts and correct in DW ---
• Their business stakeholders and team that is managing the entry of the bills would be sending the updates which then would flow through the system
• Extracting data out of risk facts; load in correctly
• Trying to re-write all of these tables as well, they have some teammates that know the format structure and data that this person will interface with

• TSQL
• ETL process
• Being able to work with large amounts of data (performance and understanding how something will perform in large environment) 14 million rows and 200 million columns
• Data Factory (bonus) being able to work with large amounts of data - performance how something will perform in a large environment ---- they have 14 million rows 30 columns
Responsibilities:
• The candidate must be highly proficient and experienced at designing, implementing, and supporting ETL solutions data warehouse environment
• Create, maintain, and optimize stored procedures, functions, inline SQL, database structures, and ETL processes to adapt to changes in needs and requirements; ensuring a high degree of data quality.
• As a senior team member, the senior data engineer will assume lead roles in the design and development of data integrations, oversee the work of junior developers, and participate in the strategic planning around future development of the data environments.
• Ensures acceptable levels of system performance, integrity and security
• Must be able to handle multiple highly complex projects concurrently and collaboratively.
• Provide operational production support and flexible to manage high severity incidents/problem resolution during off business hours.
• Collaborate with functional group leaders and engineering team(s) to gather and analyze data requirement needs.
