Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Strong software development experience in software development with expertise in Java 6 and above and knowledge of latest Java (8/9) features

Experience with microservices technologies – Springboot a must

Experience with Cloud architectures

Couchbase/Elastic experience a must

Play/Akka experience is ideal

Core Java skills

Experience with Kafka, AWS native stack (APIs, Cognito etc.)

SRE skills (managing SLOs/SLIs including but not limited to Performance Engineering, Caching solutions, etc.)

Strong experience in writing high quality code with full automated unit test coverage

Strong experience in defining and applying design standards, patterns, quality matrix depending on the solutions

Commerce domain background (orders, pricing, payment integrations) is a plus

DevOps knowledge, cloud experience, knowledge of front-end technologies

Must be able to interface with client and have solid communication skills

Must have experience client-facing

Must have experience working with offshore teams
