Skills & Job Responsibilities

·         This position will be responsible for helping to manage and coordinate data gathering and projects related to the NYCB Integration.

·         Project manager role specifically handling a merger or acquisition.

·         Banking or Financial Services experience

 

Skills Needed:

·         Demonstrated ability to deliver projects from inception to successful implementation

·         Solid project management skills with the demonstrated ability to multitask and manage multiple small and mid-size projects in a cross-functional environment

·         Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies

·         Understanding of the software development process, including requirement gathering, analysis/design, development tools/technologies, release/version control, contemporary testing methodologies and deployment management

·         Demonstrated experience in creating detailed documentation for moderate sized projects

·         Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and achieve results

·         Good ability in interpreting customer business needs and translating them into application and operational requirement

·         Ability to communicate needs and schedules, as well as ensure that plans are in place and standards are adhered to

·         Good ability to communicate verbally and in technical writing to all levels of the organization in a proactive, contextually appropriate manner

·         Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels

·         Good ability to prioritize work by dividing time, attention, and effort between current project workload and ongoing support tasks

·         Ability to influence those not within direct control

·         Ability to coordinate and execute cross functionally with technical managers, business managers, SMEs, and customers
