DevOps Engineer

Work closely with team members to design and develop infra and devops solutions

Work in cross-functional teams to characterize, debug, and improve infrastructure scalability

Devise and conduct experiments to evaluate performance impacts of system changes

Constantly evaluate the infra-architecture and approach to identify areas of improvement

Participate in architecture and design reviews of complex solutions in cross-team engineering efforts and own quality perspectives for the design.

Develop scripts to automate infra test, preferably open source/home grown

Be high contributor of creating scalable Continuous Integration and Continuous deployment

Participate in scrums in design & architecture related discussions, planning and operational reviews with development teams

Report trends highlighting product performance and team status against committed milestones and projects

Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems

Setup different environments

Setup Jenkins, Bamboo, EC2, Mobile CD/CI pipelines on AWS

Every day identify latest green build from dev, int, staging and deploy to require environment for every microservice

Deployment needs to validate that the app is deployed with proper build numbers and to the right cluster.

Required Skills:

Strong AWS, including Cloud formation and/or Lambda/Serverless Framework

Strong hand on experience with Pipeline as Code, Kubernetes, Docker, Bitbucket pipelines

Proficient with Terraform, Bamboo and Jenkins pipelines

Good Agile

Solid comm skills

Extensive hands-on experience Mobile/ related architecture, web-services, micro-services, ESB, networking, WAF

Well versed with front-end web, backend-batch, cloud-based and n-tier architecture

Must be proficient in 2 or more of the following:1. Java2. Python3. Groovy4. Shell scripting
