Job Description:

Technical SAP Project Project/Program Manager Responsibilities:

•                   Leading the overall delivery of one or more Projects with overall accountability for the Finance project planning, execution, and transition to operational support

•                   Projects may be HPE level Strategic Initiatives, GFIT Transformation Activities and GFIT Internal Improvements

•                   Designated escalation, delivery, and scope of work

•                   Decide on the end-to-end planning and delivery working within GFIT and with cross functional Business & IT partners

•                   Representative in Executive Stakeholder meetings

•                   Acts as the primary interface with business, coordinates work between multiple SI and HPE IT teams and provides day-to-day management of project, including overall performance and contract compliance

•                   Responsible for the coordination and facilitation of business stakeholder workshops to drive project effort if needed

•                   Provides day-to-day management and direction to the implementation team resources assigned to the project

•                   Ensures team meets commitments per IT business goals and objectives delivering quality product

•                   Provides technical as well as people leadership and nurtures a positive can-do culture within the team, leading by example to motivate and sustain a group of high performers.

•                   Arranges and facilitates daily Business calls, status meetings, integration meetings, escalation problem management calls and other meetings as necessary

Education and Experience Required:

•           Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or related areas

•           At least 10+ years of experience in program and project delivery for SAP applications

•           Key skills include PMP with Agile and Scrum delivery expertise

•           Project Management to include significant experience in managing large-scale SAP Implementations

•           Solid understanding of SAP S4 and ECC functional modules including Sales & Distribution & Finance.

Experience with Materials Management, Project Systems, Service Management are a plus

•           Need to be proficient on MS Project or related planning tool and office product

•           Strong problem solving and analytical skills, proactive and go-getter

•           Good grasp of industry best practices in enterprise-class software development 

•           Looking for someone who can bring himself/herself up to speed quickly in our current environment

•           Excellent oral and written communication, time management and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization

•           Ability to lead, manage and coordinate Global delivery teams responsible for design, development and deliver
