- API and JDBC based product connectivity requirement understanding, analysis, and elaboration
- End point data source / system API and data model analysis
- Drive connector design patterns / decisions
- Real time synch with Amazon product counterpart
- Bridge the gap between the product team and connector development team
- Own technical communication for connector development plan, build mgmt.
- Perform code review (coding standards / formats)
- Provide engineering inputs for connector test strategy
- Involved in writing connector coding as required
- Ensure Unit testing across all the connector code prior to merging into build
- Update documentation for individual’s work
- 8+ years of software / product engineering experience
- Hands-on experience in Java 8+, API/XML, and JDBC
- Must be Proficient in ETL & Data extracts
- SAAS DW Experience
- SQL JDBC/ODBC Experience
- Experience on developing data connector integrations based on APIs / JDBC / SQL
- Experience in AWS Cloud
- Experience in SAP HANA or SQL Experience
- Experience programmatically integrating with one of the - MongoDB, Google Analytics
