Key Responsibilities:
• Managing unit testing, integration testing, testing with User Interface and Web APIs.
• Will be managing a team of approximately 8 QAs.- work directly with Test Lead on assignments
• Managing manual and automation testing.
• Exceptional in testing processes and tools to: execute test cases and scripts, analyze test results, report on testing progress and results, facilitate defect resolution and document final test results in order to execute testing engagement.
• Plans and executes the analysis of the testing requirements of a project in order to define a Testing Strategy.
• Defines the metrics to be collected to monitor the performance and effectiveness of testing for a project.
• Interacts with project teams and clients to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and testing objectives for the project as a basis for determining testing requirements.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
• First level and Advanced University degree preferred plus 10-15 years directly related experience.
Technical Skills Needed:
• Experience working with the Microsoft productivity tools and the Microsoft Development and Testing Tools
• MS Office Suite, SharePoint, etc
• TFS and/or Azure Devops
• Visual Studio
• Microsoft Test Manager (MTM)
• Experience testing SOA (Service Oriented Architectures)
• Experience with tools such as Ready API Test Suite (SoapUI) and integration within a continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD)
• Experience testing Data Warehouse Solutions including ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) methodologies
• Experience with data integrity testing
• Experience writing SQL scripts and incorporating within a CI/CD process
• Experience testing and integrating COTS (Commercially Off The Shelf) products
• Familiarity with Business Objects (BO) and Power BI is a plus
• Experience with load and performance testing tools and approaches
• Tools may include Microfocus tool suite (Performance Center or Storm Runner) or Microsoft Load testing tools
• Experience with Selenium for functional test automation
• Preferably experience with Selenium Web Driver
• Ability to setup Selenium Grid
• Experience with CI/CD integrations is a plus
