- Bachelors in Computer Science or related field from a certified institution.
- 10+ years of experience in architecting and implementing big data solutions using industry best practices.
- 10 years of experience in SQL. Preferably in Oracle.
- Experience with supporting and collaborating with Data Scientist Team and the Business developing machine learning models.
- Domain experience in energy topics, including energy markets, power generation, and service is highly desirable.
- Experience with all aspects of Data Engineering (ingestion, cleansing, transformations, presentation)
- Experience with engaging various groups and levels in the project management organization including stakeholders and driving decisions.
- Proven experience in leading global development teams in highly visible and demanding projects.
Your responsibilities
- Deliver data driven solutions that meet the business needs that are scalable and maintainable.
- Support adhoc data requests from the business in support of time critical presentations.
- Exploit existing capabilities and keep current with trends and latest technologies to enhance current solutions.
- Work closely with the Business Analysts to set the direction of the user stories and work with stakeholders to negotiate the size of the requirements.
- Lead technical discussions with project management and stakeholders on scope and solutions.
- Provide cost estimates for project and budget planning.
