·         Apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing of Java 8 software for the insurance industry.

·         Looking for an extremely strong Java developer fluent in the latest version of Java (8), testing frameworks, Spring Frameworks and latest Queuing systems.

·         Able to write entirely new modules using latest java, spring, testing frameworks and queuing technologies

·         Able to work with Project Managers, Architects, and Leads to deliver the highest quality software possible within Project timelines.

·         Develop software adhering to all security standards

·         Fluent in SQL/scripting and reading database diagrams

·         Experience with Java 8, Cloud technology, XML,Json

·         Work done on Web services, Work done on Rest services, MicroServices

·         Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)

·         Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)

·         Expert mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required)

·         Expert knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery (Required)

·         Expert ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue. Able to diagnose and fix complex systems quickly.

·         Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required

·         5-8+ years experience required
