The Senior Developer position within the Shared Application Services/New York Business Express (SAS/NYBE) Portal team will work with business analysts to understand project requirements, goals, and objectives. Using skills as noted in the mandatory/requested qualifications, the successful candidate will aid in developing an efficient application and approval process for the citizens of New York State who use the NYBE portal to start, run, and grow their business.
Duties
- Understanding project goals and objectives.
- Work with business analysts to understand requirements.
- Design, author, and develop business rules based on requirements using Oracle Policy Automation (OPA).
- OPA rule/data modeling including testing and debugging.
- Forms development based on rule creation in OPA.
- Modify screens in OPA including interview creation.
- Build and deploy using standard procedures including the Oracle Policy Automation Hub.
- Java and .net Development
- Provide support as required.
- Working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Work as a peer with other developers
- Create documentation and share knowledge with team members.
- Work with business analysts to understand requirements and design, author, and develop business rules based on requirements using Oracle Policy Automation (OPA).
- Debug and test Oracle Policy Automation (OPA) projects for new transactions
- Creating new screens in OPA including interview creation for new transactions.
- Develop new framework functionality for the NYBE Portal.
Mandatory Requirements
- Creates computer software. May specialize in one area of computer software or may write code for many kinds of software.
- Experience (8+ Years)
Requirements
- 80 Months experience integrating business rules and developing systems using Oracle Policy Automation (OPA), including deployment, testing, automation hub, modeling, and debugging
- 80 Months of development experience with .NET; Java and J2EE or related programming experience
- 80 Months of experience working with business analysts understanding requirements
- 80 Months of Web Development experience with HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
- 60 Months of development experience in Oracle Service Cloud formally known as RightNow version 2012-current including RightNow Query Language, Custom Object Deployment, Workspace/WorkFlow Development, Agent Scripting, Custom Process Model, Business Rules, Add-ins, Widgets, and experience with developing in a Multi-Site Environment.
