1. We have a .Net based monolith application and we need these candidates’ have experience building CI/CD pipeline for .Net applications from the scratch and be able to automate aggressively.
2. This is not a microservices based application. We need these resources are comfortable automating on premise application and designing/implementing CI/CD for .Net on AWS Cloud

Summary Description:

Seeking an experienced (lead level) AWS DevOps developer or solution architect with ability to plan, design, implement and document AWS centric CI/CD deployments using cloud best-practices and, in general, contribute to cloud enablement and cost optimization efforts.

Specifically, the candidate must be able to materially contribute to the design and implementation of infrastructure-as-code (IaC), automated deployments, metrics collection and reporting, logging concerns, and DevSecOps requirements. The candidate must understand application development and deployment workflows and be capable of providing guidance on app re-factoring efforts.

In addition, this candidate will be expected to mentor and work in collaboration with other team members to deliver on designated requirements and timelines.

Required Skill Set / Experience:

·       AWS – 5+ years deploying and managing applications in AWS

·       Lead Experience – 3+ years in a role demonstrating ability to own and drive deliverables with minimal technical guidance

·       CloudFormation

·       Terraform

·       AWS CDK (w/ Python or Java preferred)

·       AWS Lambdas

·       AWS ECS/EKS

·       CI/CD automation using GitLab (or comparable)

·       Docker Compose

·       Experience monitoring and managing cloud deployments (i.e. CloudWatch), including the implementation of auto-scaling and other cost-management techniques

Must have material experience with at least one (preferably two) of the following:

·       PowerShell / .NET / Desired State Config (DSC)

·       Python

·       Bash

Desired Skills:

·       AWS Certification(s)

·       Kubernetes

·       TeamCity / Octopus Deploy

·       Configuration Management with Chef / Ansible
