The candidate will serve as a senior-level programmer working to implement new NYS Voter Enhancements including:
- Analysis, design, prototype/wireframes, coding, component, and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team
- Write application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions
Mandatory Qualifications
- 60 months of Experience (This is non-negotiable they must meet this)
Requested Qualifications
- 72 Months of experience in creating secure MVC web applications including Authentication, Authorization, data validation in Microsoft .Net framework 4.0 or above
- 60 months of experience in writing T-SQL queries and developing stored procedures, functions, packages in MS SQL Server 2008 or higher
- 60 months experience in designing and creating relational database structures in SQL Server to meet business needs
- 48 months experience developing Web Services using WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) in C# using .NET, JQuery, JavaScript, JSON.
- 24 Months experience in designing/architecting web applications which are accessible (meet accessibility laws and regulations) and are responsive; able to be viewed on multiple different platforms and screen sizes (Desktop computer, tablet phone etc.) using the same code base.
- 36 Months experience with secure coding methodologies. This should include the ability to troubleshoot and address defects as they relate to security.
- 48 months experience writing and executing unit tests
- 36 months experience in developing .NET MVC web applications using 3 tier architecture.
- 12 months experience maintaining application code in Team Foundation Server
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology-related field, from an accredited institution.
