Work closely with IT Management, Software developers, and business users to identify testing requirements for new systems and modifications to existing systems.
Understand and advocate Agile best practices for all disciplines.
Design and Execute test cases and validate data for eCommerce website, middleware and backend applications, including order management systems.
Maintain traceability between test scripts and requirements.
Manage test environment for integration testing activities.
Perform End to End validation of Online orders thru different stages.
Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code to determine breakdown source.
Document software defects in detail and report to developers and track.
Bug fix verification and validation.
Provide weekly status update and communicate any risks to deliverables.
Provide feedback to developers on software usability and functionality.
Perform User Acceptance Testing with Stakeholders and obtain final signoff for production deployment.
Provide Post-implementation support for all deliverables.
7 or more years of experience designing and creating Test Case scenarios, testing software and validating data.
3 or more years of experience with SQL and stored procedures in various databases (SQLServer, Sybase, DB2).
Must have QA Testing experience within Retail space which can include e-Commerce, OMS, or Buy Online
Proficient end-to-end understanding and experience with knowledge of system development life cycles.
Strong understanding and hands on experience with Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile/SCRUM Methodology.
Working ability to remain effective under stress and respond to pressure in a manner acceptable to others and the organization.
Proficient ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities with promptness, efficiency and ease while maintaining strong customer focus.
Ability to take little direction and achieve quality results independently.
Proficient ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English, including the ability to provide clear, constructive direction and feedback to team members.
Retail industry experience preferred, especially related to any of the following areas: store operations, warehouse distribution, store allocation, merchandising, marketing, accounting, and finance.
Knowledge of Merchandise and Warehouse management (JDA, PKMS) and .Net application development environments preferred.
Knowledge of IBM iSeries operating system and applications preferred.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or equivalent year-for-year experience preferred.

Minimum 3 years’ experience creating and executing automation test scripts using industry standard automation and testing tools such as Selenium, Soap UI, Postman, JMeter, Appium, Cucumber etc.
Solid understanding of the Test Pyramid and ability to implement automated tests across all levels (Unit, Functional, Integration, and User Acceptance / end-to-end).
