- As the QA Data Lead, you will coordinate resources to ensure testing is done at appropriate levels for various phases of projects.
- Will work close with Data Engineers and Project Management to deliver test results for specific timeline milestones.
- As the team lead, you will be responsible for managing resources, ensuring that they are appropriately allocated work.
- Will be the main point of contact for quality assurance for data projects, and responsible for the success of testing data engineering pipelines.
Qualifications:
- Responsible for leading test efforts and resources for complex QA projects across multiple systems.
- Experience managing QA teams for data warehouse or data-related projects.
- Must have a strong background with SQL.
- Has experience with ETL tools, including SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or similar.
- Provide high level and detailed estimations for project work and determine resource allocation and needs.
- Work with Project Managers to align estimations and actual tasks.
- Experienced in test automation for ETL systems.
- Plans regression strategy for projects and works with the team to execute regression testing.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge and experience with SDLC.
Experience:
- 5+ years SQL experience
- 5+ years working on data projects in a QA role
- 2+ years’ experience in a position managing resources.
- Strong communication and analytical skills are a must
