Design test scenarios and plan for feature releases
Investigate defects including what is failing and where is it failing
Design and maintain automated tests that provide functional, regression and integration test coverage for services
Responsible for identifying infrastructure related issues and triage them appropriately to right team
Document/File defects and determine root cause analysis for issues
Analyze logs and provide insights to devs for defect clusters
Represent test in product and development team meetings
 

Background & Competencies Required:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
4+ years of testing and automation experience
Good coding skills in one or more Object Oriented programming languages: C# OR Java
Experience in testing and strategy design for micro-services on distributed systems
Background in backend API testing and performance testing processes and tools
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
Proven track record of test planning and test metrics generation for web applications and services layer
Understanding of automation tests with stub and mocked data from integrated systems
Hands-on experience with one or more relational databases and SQL
Strives to implement Agile Testing Quadrants
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
