- Test UI’s, API’s and Backends.
- Test applications including developing test plans and test cases, and preparing test scenarios documents.
- Prepare Defect Reports to report defects for unexpected behavior;
- Perform UI Testing, API Testing, Stored Procedure validation, SSIS package validation, Correspondence trigger and content validation, Database Testing, Data Feed Testing, Webservice Testing, ETL Testing and Mobile Testing
- Perform test in AWS Cloud base against DynamoDB, Lambda functions etc.
- Script generic DB2 SQL queries for regression validation
- Perform integration and system testing using Risk Based Testing approach;
- Utilize SQL developer, HP QuickTest Professional, Java, JSON validator, JIRA, HP Application Lifecycle Management, Rational ClearQuest, Rational Integration Tester, Postman, and Fiddler.
- Design and execution of functional test strategies for high quality product releases
- Analyze new feature impacts and risks for release, review the test strategy and plans to certify product quality
- Develop/create Test Plans / Business Use Cases for Testing
- Execute test use cases and report bugs using collaboration tools
- Triage and drive bug resolution with appropriate teams
- Familiar with software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies
- Work closely with the development group to document and execute regression, functional and integration tests
- Work with other QA team members and developers to identify, document, resolve and add test coverage to existing defects
- Actively participate in the ongoing effort to fully automate client regression and functionality testing
- 5 years’ experience in QA
- Strong Knowledge with test automation tools: UFT/Selenium
- Strong Knowledge with postman test/ soap UI/ UI portals/DB testing.
- Good understanding of SDLC/Agile Methodologies
- Good understanding of Backend and AWS Technologies.
