•  Middleware/backend Java developer with experience in API development and backend/database technologies. 

Resource is expected to develop backend API/database application from the requirements and data model provided, design & write JUnit test scripts, fix bugs, validate implementation.

The position requires the following skills and experience:

• 4-6+ years of experience developing Java/J2EE based applications using Spring/Spring Boot
• 3+ years of experience in developing applications using REST, Spring/Spring Boot, Swagger/OpenAPI, JSON
• 3+ years of experience with PL/SQL and Oracle databases
• Hands-on experience with Tomcat application server
• Hands-on DevOps experience using tools like Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven
• Experience with scheduling tools such as Autosys is a plus
• Experience in AWS cloud-based application development is a plus
• Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently or within a team environment is a must
• Familiarity with Agile development methodology
