- 7+ years of hands-on experience in coding and software development
- Strong OOP and software design knowledge
- Prior experience as the technical voice in a team designing scalable and user-centric products
- Proficient with modern front-end design and JavaScript frameworks; React or experience with Vue or Angular
- Experience building API's
- Experience with Mongo & Python
- Able to review code
- A track record of successfully completing projects on time and delivering on schedules and commitments
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Able to quickly diagnose and solve code problems
- Able to effectively document and communicate
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
MUST HAVE:
- Candidate should have experience with full stack web development in Django
- Strong experience working as a Python Developer
- Front end development experience with HTML and CSS
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with Linux Systems
- Bash scripting experience
- Attention to detail and the ability to create easy to use, stable software with clean code.
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills and information quickly.
- Experienced enough to proactively code against common issues and bugs and have the ability to diagnose and fix problems.
- Understand how to install and use debuggers.
- Understand object oriented design, design patterns, and how to use classes as instantiated objects – not function holder
- Knowledge of design patterns, when and how to use them
