 Test mortgage loan origination software for functionality & accuracy
• Communicate test progress, test results and other relevant information
• Manually translate functional requirements and specifications into test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results.
• Manage the defect logging/tracking/reporting process.
• Develop automated test scripts.
Qualifications:
• Ability to manage time and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Must have experience with XML, with ability to read and modify XML files
• Strong experience with MS Excel
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Proven ability to write test cases/test scenarios and execute them
• Experience with regression, unit, and manual testing
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to report on key testing statistics and trends related to test design and execution highlighting system quality and team status against committed project milestones.
• Be extremely responsible and dependable
• Ability to follow written instructions and be a team player
• Comfortable working in fast paced software deliverable in agile model
• Possess excellent organizational, time-management, and creative thinking skills.
