JOB DETAIL

The position requires extensive experience installing, upgrading, configuring, and supporting SAP ChaRM and SAP Solution Manager 7.2 system. This includes the design and configuration of the various Solution Manager components including Technical Monitoring, Managed System Configuration, Solution Documentation, Business Process Monitoring, Change Request Management (ChaRM), CTS+, TMS, etc.

• Candidate will need to work closely with Change Management, functional, and technical teams to gather requirements, design and implement solutions, troubleshoot issues, and provide status and feedback as required.

• Candidate must provide hands-on expertise with implementation of all release work, SAP OSS notes and security patch management.

• Candidate must provide formal written documentation and peer and user training.

SOLUTION ARCHITECTING
• PARTICIPATES WITH ALL SCEIS TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL TEAMS TO DEVELOP IMPLEMENTATION AND MAINTENANCE STRATEGIES, PROCESSES, PROCEDURES AND BEST PRACTICES FOR SAP CHARM AND SOLUTION MANAGER SYSTEM SOLUTIONS.
• ASSIST WITH DEVELOPMENT OF TEST PLANS TO VALIDATE THE SOLUTIONS AND COMPONENTS DURING OUR ONGOING IMPLEMENTATION.
• EFFECTIVELY LEVERAGES THE LATEST CAPABILITIES OF SAP COMPONENTS TO ASSIST WITH SOLUTION DEVELOPMENT.
• SAP BASIS ADMINISTRATION IN A WINDOWS SERVER 201X AND SQL 201X ENVIRONMENTS A PLUS.
• CHARM SETUP FOR 3 & 5 SYSTEM LANDSCAPE/RETROFIT.
• EXPERIENCE IN TROUBLESHOOTING CHARM CONFIGURATION.
• SAP BASIS ADMINISTRATION AND TECHNICAL CORE COMPETENCIES TASKS INCLUDING SAP SOFTWARE INSTALLATION, UPGRADE, APPLYING SUPPORT PACKAGES, AND INSTALLATION OF ADD-ON SOFTWARE COMPONENTS.
• IMPACT ANALYSIS OF NEW SAP RELEASES TO CURRENT SYSTEM LANDSCAPE ENVIRONMENTS.
• PARTICIPATION IN MULTI-LANDSCAPE ENVIRONMENTS THROUGH CLIENT COPIES, SYSTEM REFRESHES, AND TRANSPORT MANAGEMENT WITHIN CHARM.
• TECHNICAL CONSULTING AND MENTORING TO APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT, FUNCTIONAL, INTEGRATION AND CHANGE RELEASE MANAGEMENT TEAMS.
• TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP AND PARTICIPATION IN FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL PROJECTS ACROSS MULTIPLE TEAMS.
• DEVELOP AND CONDUCT INTEGRATION GATE REVIEWS FOR ALL RELEASES. OBTAIN MANAGEMENT APPROVALS AND MAKE SURE THE CM AUDIT REQUIREMENTS ARE IN PLACE AND MET.
• ASSESS THE PROPOSED DESIGN TO ENSURE THE SOLUTION IS NOT DEVIATING FROM THE SAP AND INDUSTRY STANDARDS. THIS INCLUDES TO ENSURE THE PROPOSED DESIGN WILL NOT BE A “THROW-AWAY” WHEN THE SYSTEM IS UPGRADED TO S/4 HANA.

• 5+ YEARS SAP CHARM AND SOLUTION MANAGER LEAD EXPERIENCE
• 5+ YEARS OF PRACTICAL UPGRADE, ENHANCEMENT PACK, OSS NOTES, SUPPORT PACKS AND TROUBLESHOOTING EXPERIENCE
• EXCELLENT LEADERSHIP SKILLS
