JOB DETAIL

An Integration Lead or Test Lead (TL) is responsible for managing the test team. A TL has thorough knowledge of functional testing using structured testing techniques, including automated testing techniques and their application across differing projects. Additional responsibilities and characteristics include the following.

  • Develops Test Strategy, Assessments and Test Plans
  • Oversees that projects are on successful and on schedule
  • Work daily w/customers and act as Point of Contact (PoC) for escalations
  • Provides direction and support for test team
  • Test Management including tracking, reporting of testing progress, defects, risks & issues
  • Team Leadership
  • Report test results, status reviews & lead defect management process
  • Identification and escalation of issues and risks
  •  Communicates with business to obtain more detail for the individual business processes

    · Ensures that the exact business process is defined at the step level

    · Assist in identifying system requirements

    · Creates test scripts and manages test script (virtual project teams and/or line responsibility)

    · Point of contact for upper management and project management when there is no Test Manager

    · Represent test team in periodic review meetings (defect review, build, etc.)

    · Participate in definition and development of test plans, test cases and participate in manual functional testing

    · Review team's results, defects and test cases to ensure adherence to established testing standards
