QA AUTOMATION

Lead quality assurance initiatives including management of 3rd party QA vendors

• Be well-versed with QA methodologies- write reusable, testable, and maintainable test scripts

• Create test scenarios and execute functional test cases that will serve as acceptance test criteria

for enhancements and new applications

• Have experience with using DevOps process for user story review, bug analysis, monitoring

automation runs

• Provide defect management oversight by providing timely defect reporting, safekeeping and

tracking through defect-life-cycle

• Find ways to enhance the testing process with new tools, strategies or techniques to

troubleshoot problems and perform complex system tests

• Have a basic understanding of databases and writing SQL scripts

• Manage multi-browser testing, load, and performance testing

• Develop Test Automation with open source and market-leading vendor solutions to create

functional, regression, or performance tests.

• Collect and effectively communicate test execution metrics

• Have an understanding of tools like Selenium, Appium, etc

• Be proficient in at least one programming language

You should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• 8+ years of relevant experience in testing enterprise software solutions

• Expertise in automation testing

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external

stakeholder while working in a collaborative team environment

• QA testing experience in automated testing, code repository and deployment tools such as

Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Silk test, SVN, Gradle, Jenkins, etc
