Job Description:
Client is looking for a .Net Developer to design and build applications for one of the leading health insurers in US. The ideal candidate must possess in depth experience in .Net and C#. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the team.
As a .Net Developer, you will
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable and reliant C# code for relational database applications
- Design and implement solutions into existing environments and design business workflows to ensure proper application mapping/flow
- Create conceptual and detailed technical design documents
- Provide accurate and timely estimates (work breakdown schedules)
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of applications
- Document and execute unit and integration tests
- Define and implement standards and best practices for software development
- Participate in code review sessions as a coordinator, owner, reader, recorder or observer
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Quality Assurance Analysts, Software Developers, and Release Analysts in a DevOps model to extend the capabilities of the applications
Requirements
- 7+ years’ experience in developing code using .NET languages (C#, VB .NET)
- 3+ years’ experience in Facets membership and billing modules
- Upgrading, configuring and debugging existing systems
- Providing technical support for .Net applications
- Should possess a strong understanding of Facets data model as well as batch jobs in membership and billing domains
- Should be an expert in creating and implementing C# solutions based on user stories
- Excellent SQL Skills to integrate with backend
- Good team player with excellent communication skills and proactive behavior
- Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment would be a plus
