- Document and maintain HL7 system specification documents for new and existing applications, and documentation of interface modifications and upgrades. Review and edit documentation prepared by other interface analysts
- Ability to analyze and translate business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements
- Attend meetings with customers and partners to gather necessary information for interface implementation
- Work with end-users and project teams to analyze and document data and workflow processes
- Accurately estimate required effort level and time required to complete assigned tasks and consistently meet these estimates
- Ensure interface processes conform to all applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Good data analysis, communication, troubleshooting and writing skills are required
- Assist with maintenance of integration infrastructure including routine support, upgrades, problem diagnosis and performance tuning
Preferred Qualification/Skills:
- Bachelor of Computer Science, Business Administration or related four-year degree
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong Analytical thinking and problem solving-solving capabilities
- This position requires at least 5+ years of experience with data integration and strong hands-on experience developing HL7 interfaces on industry standard integration engine, familiar with XML and X12 data standards
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience working in the Healthcare setting
- SQL experience (MySQL/MSSQL) preferred
- Ability to work independently with indirect supervision in a fast-paced team environment
