JOB DETAIL

  • Act as a Business Analyst, working with the business to understand supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics processes and requests for enabling appropriate solutions.
  • Understand and support master data governance for supply chain and manufacturing business processes.
  • Support and provide guidance on reporting needs.
  • Respond to requests for power user support and be available to address Tier 1 support (process support, master data, user access, user support and other non-technical issues).
  • Maintain current knowledge base of solutions and work with Tier 2 and 3 support sustainment teams to facilitate technical break / fixes.
  • Provide Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Logistics process support, best practices, and guidance as needed.
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects and day-to-day requests.
  • Liaison with Business and IT to coordinate the Change Request processes.

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED

 

* Minimum level of education and years of relevant work experience.

 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field and a minimum of 6 years in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or other regulated environment OR equivalent experience and/or education.

 

* Special knowledge or skills needed and/or licenses or certificates required.

  • 3+ years of relevant Supply Chain and Manufacturing Experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with SAP S/4 HANA ERP solutions.
  • SAP experience working with / using two or more of the following modules:   MRP, Production (Process), SD and MM/WM.
  • Knowledge of SAP Security and user access process.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication and training skills, and patience.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow complex instructions.
  • People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as required, in a fast-paced, matrixed, team environment consisting of internal and external team members.
  • Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent planning, organization and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects.
