Key Skills: TestNG, Java or Python, Selenium and JIRA.
- Knowledge of Unit testing tools like Test NG, Rest Assured, JUnit. (Java based tools)
- Activities will include Automation as well as execution of automated testing and entire Lifecycle of testing, including analysis of test runs, logs and errors triaging, etc.
- Tasks will include Maintenance of some inhouse developed tools admin board, (predominantly java-based tools)
- Knowledge of Python is not mandatory. But basic knowledge and will to pick up Python on-the-job.
- Needs to understand java web services / databases (Cassandra), to work on deciding on data sets for test runs, etc.
- Will also need to coordinate and interface with other teams carrying out Performance test execution like Silkrunner(Candidate does not need to know this skill ) or JMeter the activities will include Finding hotspot, triaging. Participating in those processes, discussions, etc.
- Some amount of comfort on java coding is a must.
