Location: Remote then Irvine, CA. Needs to be in PST - PST CANDIDATES ONLY

This position will support the State Street Unix Team based in North America in administrating all Unix Servers they manage globally.

• Will there be any training provided or would the need to jump right in first day?
Person needs to have the knowledge of things requested in job posting. There will not be any training provided.

Must Have:

• Expertise with Red Hat 7 & 8 Operating System Management and Administration
• Expertise Rancher , Kubernetes, Ansible for cloud infrastructure. Working knowledge of chef is an advantage.
• Expertise with Shell Scripting
• Working Experience with VMware Vsphere & Vcenter
• Working Experience with Nagios Splunk or other unix monitoring tools
• Candidate must provide own laptop (a soft token will be provided)

Skills:

•Bachelor's level or higher degree in Computer Science/Engineering
•Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
•Excellent Team player and able to able to work with multiple teams
•Ability to work without supervision and prioritize workload
•Pro-active flexible and adaptable – willing to work extended hours / weekends

Responsibilities:

What is the day to day of the person going to look like?
Person will need to work on rancher, ansible , linux and vmware configuration to develop a private cloud infrastructure for IMSwest.
