·         At least 10+ years of Android development experience.

·         Strong knowledge in Kotlin, Java recent Android SDKs.

·         Should be familiar working in Agile (methodology) projects.

·         Deep experience in Android and have worked with Kotlin.

·         Preferred (but not required) experience iOS/iPhone, or .NET/C#.

·         This developer should be able to hit the ground running back filling on Premera's Flagship mobile application, delivering many exciting customer-focused features on the roadmap this year.

·         Kotlin though there is still some Java.

·         Retrofit2.

·         GSON.

·         Adobe.

·         NewRelic.

·         Koin.

·         Junit.

·         Mockito.

·         AndroidX.

·         Android Studio.

·         Augment current team to help design and lead the Okta migration work.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Knowledge of Google design principles and application interface guidelines.

·         Understanding of OOP/POP principles and other architectures (MVVM, MVC, MVP, VIPER).

·         Experience integrating REST APIs and associated libraries.

·         Experience writing tests, testable code and working with test frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).

·         A good understanding of the application development lifecycle.

·         Experience with Version control like GIT.

·         A good understanding of UI/UX concepts.

·         Experience with Agile methodologies - Scrum and/or Kanban.

·         Strong communication skills.

·         Experience with continuous integration.
