Looking for a strong QA Tester to join our clients Data and Analytics Team. You should have a strong background with manual testing, as well as some automated/API testing experience and a background utilizing BI tools.
Responsibilities:
- Deep understanding of QA manual testing, tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Understand and utilize BI tools to ensure quality of systems and applications.
- Day to day manual, and automated/API, testing for a variety of projects and applications.
- Stay abreast of new technologies/tools and work with the Testing Center of Excellence.
- Communicate risks and issues effectively, both in writing and verbally, to multiple audiences, technical and non-technical.
- Work with each individual team to ensure that all project deliverables are on time and high quality.
Skills/Experience:
- Experience in creating Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test summaries and Test reports.
- Background with using BI tools for a variety of projects.
- A minimum of 3-5 years QA testing experience (background with an emphasis on manual testing and some automated/API testing experience).
- Experience with OpenAPI testing tools (Swagger, Postman).
- Understanding of Agile.
- Insurance industry and Guidewire experience a big plus.
- Experience with core insurance applications such as Policy, Billing, Claims, and Document Production/Management is highly preferred.
