JOB DETAIL

• Understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Understanding of quality assurance and testing processes within an Agile environment with an eye toward innovating and improving test processes
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative working environment within your team and beyond
• Experience working in Cross Functional Teams
• Proficient in SQL Queries - understanding and usage of union, sub-query and joins
• Perform data analysis as well as interpretation.
• Solid QA experience in Manual Testing
• Experience in trouble shooting and resolving challenges for existing testing tools /frameworks
• Working knowledge in Agile methodology
• Ability to triage problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose a resolution
• Proficient in devising/maintaining all artifacts of testing such as Test Scenarios, RTM, Test Cases, Defect Reports and Test Summary Report
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies

• Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority projects with varying deadlines
• Experience with Jenkins, TFS Release Management or other continuous integration systems.
• Achieve results under minimal supervision
• Software scripting skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
• Exposure to automation testing (developing/executing).

• Experience in SOAP UI or JMETER or OATS.
• Experience in .NET/SQL Server and/or Linux/Unix Oracle Applications environments
• Strong experience in client Server / Web App testing
• Experience in Restful API / Web Services Testing
• Experience in leveraging automation frameworks for web applications.
• Demonstrated programming and debugging skills in C#, Java , OOPS Concepts, and/or Javascript.
• Working knowledge in Agile, DevOps and continuous Integration methodology.

Certificates / Training:

• Preferred: Applicable industry/professional certification

• 5+ years experience developing test plans, test cases, assessing risk, and filing appropriate defects
• Excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies & practices
• Experience testing a variety of mobile frameworks and/or applications
• Experience developing automated software tests
