Lead and roll out approach for unit testing and quality gates

·         First focus will be creating learning for unit testing and collaborating with teams to ensure adoption

·         Bridge into other forms of quality engineering; using quality gates to block builds or implementing different types of automated testing post build.

·         Not doing day to day developing- there will be cases where a team is facing challenges and you may need to jump in (hands on trouble shooting, investigating the issues or resolving if required)

·         Responsible for coaching and mentoring developers and development team in terms of how to implement automated unit testing correctly

·         Helping to define the guiding strategy

·         Researching and analysis; investigating tools or solutions that the company doesn’t have yet but could bring on

·         In addition to unit testing- will also need knowledge to be able to quire knowledge on behavior driven development and test-driven development

·         Strong development background involving implementation of automated unit testing

·         Experience creating and developing automated unit testing (hands on experience )

·         Experience with 1 or more of the following Program languages: Java, .net. angular, react or python

·         Experience working as a full stack development engineer

·         Experience mentoring developers or working as a lead

·         5+ years Automated unit testing

·         Experience working as an application developer- help with development of real applications/enterprise applications (not programming and developing scripts but more traditional developer)

·         Experience working in a DevOps environment (understanding of how to integrate into the DevOps process)

·         Software engineering background delivering using a DevOps pipeline using best practices like unit testing, quality gates, frequent builds, qualitative analysis. 

·         Emphasis on strong verbal skills- required for presenting on topics and mentoring and coaching
