- These 3 positions are broken into 2 different profile needs:
1)  NEED 1 resource with strong REST API's and Python scripting.

PLUS skills are Jenkins, Gitlab and Kafka as they are moving into CICD pipelining so understanding of these technologies is BIG plus.

2)NEED 2 resources with strong skills in ETL (prefer SSIS), SQL, Python scripting, and SQL Server/Teradata.

Day to Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project:
1. Working on Data Extraction processes pulling in data from multiple sources
2. Transforming & Cleaning up the data
3. Applying business logic to the data and loading into the target databases.
4. Build ETL packages (SSIS/Talend) to drive scheduled data loads.
5. Automate ETL processes using scheduling tools
6. Ability to write Python scripts to streamline data extraction and automation processes.
7. Work with internal team to create API endpoint to accept messages and publishes to kafka for downstream applications.
8. Create event type(s) for API endpoint with the Noun,verb,object,sub-object definitions.
9. RESTful development in preferable Java or Python language.
10. Experience with CI/CD processing in either GitLab or Jenkins.
11. Development experience with Java, RESTFul WebServices/Microservices and Swagger UI.
12. Hands on experience with SQL Queries, Troubleshooting logs, Performance fine tuning, Jenkins/CICD processes.
13. Worked on Apache Kafka messaging frameworks
14. Preferred experience:
2+ years of experience building REST APIs
Extensive knowledge of how web semantics translate into a REST API
4+ years of experience programming and delivering in a production environment (college acceptable criteria)]
