Sr. SQL Server DBA responsible for installing, administrating, upgrading and monitoring and scaling enterprise class SQL server databases.   This is a tech, high availability organization and this would be working on revenue generating product engineering division!

Work with our developers and business analysts to create and modify our database structure.

Proactively monitor SQL Servers for performance, security, stability and recovery utilizing best practices.

Perform database maintenance tasks, including backup/restores, update statistics, rebuild indexes, capacity management, etc.

Develop, manage and maintain strong disaster recovery and high availability solutions.

Plan an installation, migration and patching of database servers.

Perform troubleshooting and optimization of the database environment.

Manage the DBA support queue.

Participate in our on-call support on a rotational basis.

Strong scripting skills ( Powershell, VB, etc. )

Tuning, capacity planning
