We are actively seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team. We work in small teams and move fast to drive our products and business to the next level. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implementation, and automation of large-scale distributed systems
- Build tools and automation that help us achieve higher availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency
- Work with Engineering teams to deliver high quality software in a fast-paced environment
- Monitor production and development environments to build preventive measures and provide a seamless customer experience
- Work with delivery teams on software improvements to achieve higher availability and lower MTTD
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Software Development Life Cycle experience preferably Agile Scrum.
- 2+ years of Systems and Networking experience
- 2+ years of public cloud experience (GCP or AWS)
- Experience with Incident Management Process, SRE best practices and continuous improvements
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience designing large scale distributed systems
- Orchestration and management of containers using Kubernetes, Helm, GKE and Docker
- Experience with Gitlab, Jenkins, Vagrant, ArgoCD, Spinnaker, CI/CD methodologies & tools
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Python or other scripting languages
- Experience with config management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Experience in one or more monitoring systems: Prometheus, New Relic, AppDynamics, or LogicMonitor
- Experience with messaging and indexing applications such as Kafka, Zookeeper, FLINK, RMQ, and Solr
- Experience with SIP telephony applications such as Freeswitch, Asterisk, Kamailio and WebRTC is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
