Title: SQL Developer

Duration: 12-24 Months

Work authorization: any (candidate must be authorized to work in US)

Location: Atlanta, GA (on-site)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

·         Microsoft SQL Server: 8+ years (Required)

·         Database Administration: 5+ years (Required)

·         Azure: 2 years (Required)

·         T-SQL: 3 years (Required)

EXPERIENCE:

·         8+ years of experience in an Information Technology environment with at least 5 years in an operational role directly supporting MS SQL Server.

·         Development experience in Stored Procedures, Materialized Views, Data Modeling and User Defined Functions.

·         Prior experience working with large (2tb+) transactional databases.

·         Prior experience working at scale across a large environment with hundreds to thousands of databases in-scope.

·         Experience translating environments into Azure Managed Instance and other Azure technologies will be given a strong preference.

·         Experience working with SQL replication and SQL Availability Groups

·         Ability to develop and grow interpersonal relationship within and across teams

·         Expert knowledge of common database administration tasks such as backup & restore, recovery models, integrity checks, and replication methods.

·         Experience automating SQL Server administration tasks and workflows at scale.

·         Modern SQL Server High Availability & Disaster Recovery features.

·         Familiarity with modern SQL Server data protection and security features.

·         Firm understanding of the most prominent Azure database technologies such as Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance.

·         Fundamental knowledge of performant T-SQL code is required,

·         Experience with common tools utilized in our environment – Azure DevOps GIT
