- Lead project teams, or multiple project teams simultaneously, partnering with IT and business leads to coordinate all aspects of cross-functional enterprise-wide programs from start to finish.
- Work in an Agile team environment as an expert in Agile principles, working to promote these principles and development processes across multiple IT and Business teams.
- Responsible for increasing efficiency and optimizing execution by protecting development teams from distractions, driving accountability and promoting strong teamwork.
- Oversee all aspects of assigned projects including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk to ensure successful delivery in very dynamic environment
- Ensure projects/programs adhere to and are properly progressing through Poly’s Project Governance, Methodology and Monitoring, including SDLC compliance when scoped
- Develop and maintain project briefs, timelines, milestones, team structure, project plans, MS project team sites, and various presentations
- Facilitate kick-off meetings, business requirements and design workshops, weekly core team meetings, steering committee meetings and more
- Coach and mentor teams on consistent and effective use of Scrum best practices.
- Partner with cross functional IT and business teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional requirements and user stories for Salesforce and Big Machines teams.
- Leverage Service Now tools to support the team and track release progress
- Support product owners and team leads in prioritizing and maintaining a backlog
- Monitor team progress and drive accountability to agreed deliverables and milestones
- Facilitate discussion, decision making and conflict resolution
- Lead daily scrum meeting(s; prioritize user stories
- Communicate program objectives, goals and progress effectively and promptly across all levels of the organization.
- Use critical thinking and business acumen to breakdown complex business process opportunities into quantifiable scope and measurable objectives
- Work independently with little or no direct supervision
- Be hands-on, detail-oriented and proactive in leading team to resolve all project issues and impediments in a timely manner, effectively communicate, manage expectations and resolve conflicts working closely with team leads and executive business process owners
What you bring to the team
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent is required.
- 7-10 years of IT Project Management experience or equivalent leading global, complex enterprise technology implementations is a must.
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or similar role
- Proficiency in Agile methodology and practices, patterns, and techniques
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, self-motivated and independent critical thinker with ability to influence stakeholders and guide team during conflicting situations to stay focused on business goals and priorities under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Excellent time management
- Experience with CPQ (Big Machines), Oracle Advanced Pricing, ChRM and Order Management is a plus
- Can document effectively, prepare timely communications, and prepare/give presentations to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies
- Advanced knowledge/experience with Microsoft Professional Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Microsoft Project and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience managing large scale Oracle ERP implementations or equivalent
- Possess a proven track record of successfully delivering increasingly complex projects while executing multiple projects simultaneously from end to end, taking direct responsibility for project outcomes.
- Excellent organizational, written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, with keen attention to detail are a must.
- Have excellent group facilitation skills; you can shape and guide the process of working together with remote, global teams to accomplish common goals.
