Identify internal process improvements, automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery.
Handle ad hoc reporting and analytics requests, while addressing business long-term needs and driving insights for Funding data.
Automate the processes that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
Intake on business needs and apply knowledge in order to scope data requests, insights, and recommend solutions.
Work with IT and Stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data needs.
Develop and execute analysis plan for current systems
Involved with performance tuning of SQL and understand the goals and risks associated with the business and technical requirements.
Demonstrate solid business and organizational skills, and leadership in the use of data analysis and design tools and methodologies
Actively participates in analyzing requirement and providing feedback to Technical lead and product owner.
Ensure delivered functionality meets or exceeds requirements and quality objectives.
Document work sufficiently, to enable traceability of business requirements throughout the program lifecycle
Qualifications:
Experience performing root cause analysis on external and internal data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
Strong understanding of ETL, data structures, data flow, data patterns, and data governance
Expertise with Informatica (preferred) and/or other ETL tools
Good experience with SSRS, Microsoft PowerBI or similar tools
Strong analytic skills related to working with structured and instructed datasets.
Advanced working with SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL)
Ability to understand multiple data systems and propose solutions.
Minimum 4 years of experience in QA processes and testing in data projects
Ability to understand user stories and business processes
