Responsibilities

Seeking someone who has a strong large enterprise systems background and is hands-on.

BS in computer science, IT, IS or equivalent technical area of study

Working knowledge of enterprise data center technologies including storage platforms, network switching, and security infrastructure within a virtualized data center

Strong understanding of application development methodologies and distributed systems/applications

Adept at evaluating problems accurately and displaying sound judgment

Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes

Familiarity with a broad portfolio of AWS infrastructure tools (EKS, S3, EC2, Elastic IP, Route 53, VPC) , Knowledge of other cloud eco-systems like GCP or Azure also considered.

Experience with cloud infrastructure management and automation technologies (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, AWS Tower).

Scripting (shell, python, ruby) skills for monitoring and automation

Continuous integration tools and DevOps pipeline management such as Github & Gitlab pipelines, Jenkins, Hudson, etc.

Experience optimizing applications, both stand-alone and in distributed systems to maximize performance

Experience maintaining an infrastructure and ensuring stability while adding new features

Ability to clearly articulate design and implementation choices

Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools

This a Sr. Level Role. We need a Superstar! A resume that starts off with "about or around_ years of experience" is NOT what we are looking for. We need someone that communicates at a 9 or 10 that can start Devops from Scratch.

We are trying to keep the rate under 140. This person needs to be someone that is worth the bill rate.
