Manage and maintain all production and non-production databases.
Responsible for standards and design of physical data storage, maintenance, access and security administration.
Perform backup and recovery on Database Management Systems, configure database parameters, and prototype designs against logical data models, and define data repository requirements, data dictionaries and warehousing requirements.
Optimize database access and allocate/re-allocate database resources for optimum configuration, database performance and cost.
Design and Development of Oracle Database in a standalone or RAC environment.
Provide emergency after hours support for critical applications as needed upon the written approval of the Project Manager
Skills:
Minimum of three (3) years of advanced experience working with various database management systems in database design, testing, implementation, maintenance and administration in a multiple platform environment
DBA skills such as Oracle installation and server build out in for RAC or single instance
Experience patching and Upgrading Oracle DB to 18c/19c
Working in a development environment with application scheduled releases and PL/SQL experience is a must
Experience with Partitioning, performance tuning, and supporting multiple databases
Extensive experience performing general troubleshooting database maintenance activities including backup and recovery, capacity planning, and managing user accounts
Experience in identifying and documenting risk areas and mitigation strategies for process and procedure activities
Experience creating data design models, database architecture, and data repository design
Experienced with migration of Oracle Database from On-premises to Cloud
Extensive knowledge and experience with Azure cloud platform
