Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for performing daily analysis and execution of test efforts, working collaboratively with team members across disciplines, and leading test teams on projects. Test efforts may be performed across a variety of project types including back-ends API driven architecture, Microservices and non-functional scenarios for a CMS back-end, driving business processes. Typically a Senior QA Engineer at Code and Theory can expect to work in collaboration with and in parallel to Development/Production teams throughout the lifecycle of a project, leading the testing efforts, and providing proactive risk assessment.

Must Have:

·       Test Cafe

·       Test Automation

·       Azure Services used in Event Driven testing (optional)

·       Agile and DevOPS Methodologies - CI/ CD tools

·       Analytical and problem-solving skills

Desired Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in quality assurance or test automation role performing automated test execution
• 2+ years of experience testing in Azure (preferred) , Cloud computing , DevOps (CI / CD) , and Solution Delivery based on Agile methodologies
• Strong understanding of scripting , Core Java, Selenium, Test Café, BDD, Protractor, etc.
• Should be proficient in coding, scripting and enhancing automation Test Cases
• Experience with REST/API web services and use of XML and/or JSON across different interfaces
• Working knowledge with shell scripting, SQL queries, Java frameworks and JavaScript
• Experience testing microservices, APIs, and client-side code which interacts with other APIs (RESTful and SDKs)
• Exposure and/or experience to test in multiple specializations: accessibility, automation, data and analytics, load, performance, security and creative technology
• Hands on experience with test driven development, whether in a supportive role with development or directly in control of test production
• Hands on experience in Test Automation framework design (Page object Model, Data driven, and keyword driven)
• Experience in manual exploratory Test Design, Test Execution and Defect Reporting of progressively with complex back-end development projects
• Familiarity in Agile development process (JIRA/ Rally)
• Experience testing in Sitecore or Wordpress, Drupal, Adobe AEM, etc. CMS platforms
• Excellent knowledge of QA processes, bug/error reporting, analysis and verification and take ownership in conducting triage meeting and testing fundamentals
• Effective communication and collaboration skills and ability to clearly articulate technical issues.
