Overview The Test Contractor will ensure the quality of our digital products by improving our automated test coverage of back-end Video and Streaming services. The coverage will include different test types such as automation, data contract testing and performance testing. The Contractor will interface with Test Engineering, Product Management and Development teams to verify all customer and business requirements and participate in sprint planning and feedback for all product releases.

Responsibilities:

.  Selenuim Experience

·  10+ years of experience in Automation Testing

● Develop Automation against back-end services using our Java Test Framework utilizing REST Assured

● Develop data contract tests to ensure back-end service changes do not impact clients

● Script performance tests for back-end services to ensure changes do not impact performance

● Document defects/issues in JIRA, including relevant brief descriptions of the issue with detailed steps to replicate

● Attend project stand-ups and check-ins to provide status updates on Automation

● Translate functional specifications and requirements into test cases and test scripts to drive validation of back-end services

● Strategically planning for highest value test coverage and execution Essential Skills

● Familiar with Agile methodologies

● Self-motivated, able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress and high-productivity environment

● Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to interact with technical and business stakeholders

● Knowledge of test processes and methodologies

● Experience working with REST API’s and JSON

● Proven experience with JAVA programming language

● Experience with the principles of Data Contract testing (Pact.io)

● Experience with JMeter and the principles of Performance and Load testing back-end services

● Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, Travis, CircleCI)
